Nausea
The most reported symptom during dose-up. Smaller meals, lower-fat options, and slower titration help. Persistent nausea past two weeks at a given dose should be escalated to your prescriber.
Constipation
Hydrate aggressively and add soluble fiber. A daily walk helps more than most patients expect.
Reflux
Avoid late evening meals. Discuss PPI options with your prescriber if symptoms persist.
Fatigue
Usually transient during the first two weeks of a dose change. Persistent fatigue can signal under-eating; a registered dietitian can help.
When to call
Severe abdominal pain radiating to the back (pancreatitis risk), signs of dehydration, or any symptom that feels disproportionate.
