Overview
Weightlossify (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates weightlossify.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: when you request a consultation, we collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email, state, and preferred time to call.
- Consent metadata: when you submit the consultation form, we record the date and time of submission, your IP address, your browser user agent, the URL you submitted from, any UTM tracking parameters in your URL, and the exact version of the consent text shown to you. This audit log is required to demonstrate compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
- Information collected automatically: our hosting provider logs standard request metadata (IP, user agent, time). We do not use third-party analytics cookies on this site.
How we use your information
- To call, text, or email you about your consultation request.
- To match you with a GLP-1 provider that fits your stated situation (including our partner provider NexLife).
- To maintain the consent audit log required by federal and state telemarketing law.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our forms.
Who we share it with
- Provider matches: if we recommend a specific provider to you (most commonly NexLife), we may share your name, phone number, state, and the fact that you requested a consultation, so the provider can follow up. We never share your information with a provider you didn’t consent to be contacted by.
- Service providers: we use Slack (as our internal notification channel) and Vercel (our hosting provider). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality.
- Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to enforce our Terms.
- We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Lead information is retained for up to 24 months from your most recent interaction with us, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Consent audit records are retained for at least four years, the federal TCPA statute of limitations.
Your choices
- Opt out of calls and texts: reply STOP to any of our texts, tell our caller you wish to be added to our internal Do Not Call list, or visit our opt-out page.
- Access, correction, deletion: email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
- California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other state privacy law residents: you have specific rights to access, delete, correct, and limit use of your data. Email [email protected] to exercise these rights.
Children
This site is not directed at people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, give notice before the change takes effect.
